Honouring Lokmanya Tilak on his Death Anniversary and Celebrating Annabhau Sathe Jayanti 🙏🌟 (01/08/2017 Tuesday)




Preparation of the program was undertaken by the second-year students of the college. The principal of the college, Dr. Chaugule, performed the worship of the idol. Dr. Kurhade provided information about the works of Lokmanya Tilak and Annabhau Sathe. Two students contribution of second year B.Ed expressed their thoughts. Archana Kedari thanked everyone for the program .



71st IndependenceDay (15/08/2017 Tuesday)
In the Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Aranyeshwar campus, the 71st Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by four colleges: Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya Aranyeshwar, Mahatma Gandhi Teacher Training College, Institute of Management and Research, and College of Architecture. Mr. Sahebarav Jadhav, President of the Managing Committee, hoisted the flag. Mr. Ashok Inamdar, President of the College Development Committee, Institute of Management and Research, and College, and Mr. Tanaji Ghare, Member of the Governing Body, extended their well wishes to the attendees.







"Growing Together: Alumni Reconnect through Tree Plantation, Nurturing Memories and Nature Alike (17/08/2017 Thursday)




A gathering of former students of the college took place. B.Ed. and M.Ed. former students attended the program. Mr. Vikram Kale and Prof. Prasad Joshi provided guidance to the students. Former students also planted trees. Many former students shared their thoughts. Principal Chaugule delivered a presidential address. .



Joyful Traditions: Celebrating togetherness and culture during the vibrant Bhondla festival (29/09/2017 Friday)
In the college, the Navaratri festival commenced. Bhondla and Dandiya were organized during Navaratri. The elephant idol was worshiped. Bhondla songs were sung, and everyone participated in the traditional circle dance. Even the teachers were part of it. After Bhondla, sweets were distributed to the students. All the students enthusiastically performed Dandiya.







“Commemorating Dr. Abdul Kalam: Igniting Minds and Imaginations on Book Reading Inspiration Day” (13/10/2017 Friday)




The birth anniversary of Dr. Abdul Kalam on 15/10/2017 was celebrated. On that day, being a Sunday, the "Reading Inspiration Day" was celebrated in the college at 11:00 AM. The faculties of the college, M.B.A., and Architecture participated together to organize this event. Swanil Dhende from the B.Ed. department talked about the importance of reading and the significance of the full moon day (Pournima) and gave information about Dr. Abdul Kalam. Each department brought books from their respective libraries and displayed them together. All students and faculties gathered and participated in a 30-minute collective silent reading session.



“Celebrating the Guardians of Liberty on Constitution Day: Honoring the Blueprint of Democracy.” (27/11/2017 Monday)
IThe Constitution Day was celebrated in the college on 27/11/2017 Monday. Principal Dr. Chaugule presided over the event. Dr. Kurhade delivered the introductory speech. B.Ed. students Mangesh Sakhare and Sagar Thorat provided information on the articles, duties, and rights of the Constitution. All students and faculties participated in a collective reading of the Constitution. Dr. Chaugule delivered a presidential address. Shivraj Danavle expressed gratitude.







Mahatama Jotirao Phule Death Anniversary (28/11/2017 Tuesday)




On the occasion of the Death anniversary of Mahatma Jotirao Phule, a notable figure in women's education, his portrait was worshiped in the college. Dr. Kurhade madam gave an introduction. Images depicting Mahatma Jotirao Phule's childhood were displayed. The social and educational work of Mahatma Jotirao Phule was explained, and students were informed about it. The program concluded with the distribution of tokens of appreciation to the attendees.



”Remembering the Legacy: Honoring Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Day.” (06/12/2017 Wednesday)
On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvan Day, an elocution competition was organized in the college. In this competition, students expressed their opinions on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's educational and political thoughts. Participants included Pournima Pomane, Swapnil Dhende, Vrushali Jadhav, Vrushali Galinde, Balaram Vaghmare, Rupesh Patil, and others, totaling 10 students. Dr. Ransure elaborated on several aspects of Dr. Babasaheb's life and thoughts. Dr. Chaugule explained to the students how Dr. Babasaheb's ideas were the foundation of the Economics field. In the elocution competition, the winners were as follows: First place - Balaram Waghmare, Second place - Swapnil Dhende, and Third place - Pournima Pomane.







AIDS Day Poster Competition - Report (1 December 2017)




On the 25th of November, 2017, a notice was issued by Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, inviting students to participate in an upcoming Poster Competition in commemoration of World AIDS Day on December 1, 2017. The competition aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and support within the community., The AIDS Day Poster Competition organized by Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya provided a platform for students to creatively address the significance of HIV/AIDS awareness. The event achieved its goal of spreading awareness and promoting positive change within the community, making it a resounding success.



Shiv Jayanti program (19/02/2018 Monday)
Shiv Jayanti program was enthusiastically conducted in the college. As a part of this, an elocution competition, Powada singing competition, and essay competition were organized. The principal placed a garland on the statue of Shivaji Maharaj. Students delivered speeches on various aspects of Shivaji's life. First and second-year students participated in the Powada singing competition.







Marathi Language Day and Science Day




Marathi Language Day and Science Day were celebrated together in the college. For this occasion, a poetry recitation and Prashnamanjusha (quiz) competition were held. In the year 2018, to commemorate the centenary year of Vinda Karandikar, the former professor and principal of the college, Dr. Chaugule published a collection of his poems. Flexes with information about four Jnanpith Award winners were prepared. The opening speech was given by Dr. Kunhade. Afterward, all sang the Marathi pride song. A student named Priyanka Tamhane shared information about poet Kusumagraj. Information about Dr. C. V. Raman was provided by Rajashri Gayakwad. Following this, a poetry recitation took place and then Bharud was performed. All students and teachers participated in poetry recitation, and for Science Day, Prashnamanjusha took place. Chocolate was given to students who answered questions correctly. The college principal provided guidance, and Anikta Shitole expressed gratitude on behalf of everyone.



"Empowered women empower the world. Happy Women's Day!" (08/03/2018 Thursday)
Various programs were held in the college to celebrate Women's Day. Images of accomplished women from various fields were displayed. All the women in the college were honoured on this day.

A collective celebration of Independence Day was held at Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Professor Mahavidyalaya Aranyeshwar, Mahatma Gandhi Adhyapak Vidyalaya, Institute of Management and Research, and College of Architecture. The flag hoisting was done by Mr. Vikas Gogawale, the President of the Organizing Committee. With everyone present saluting the flag, the national anthem and flag song were sung, and the proclamation of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and joy.The formal welcome and introduction were conducted by the Acting Principal, Mr. Chandrakant Kataria, and the Institute of Management and Research's Professor Mayuresh Ghare.The proceedings were overseen by Professor Sunil Kalekar, and the program's gratitude was acknowledged by Dr. Chougule, the Principal of Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya aranyeshwar.



Hindi Day (14 September 2018)
On September 14, 2018, the college celebrated 'Hindi Day.' Second-year Bachelor of Education students were present at the school for student service. In the college, the thoughts of eminent personalities and authors related to the Hindi language were expressed through posters. This exhibition remained open for three days and was inaugurated by the principals. “







“Commemorating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi: Spreading Cleanliness and Inspiration.”(22 September 2018)




On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a cleanliness drive was organized on September 22, 2018, at 11:00 AM. A cleanliness camp was conducted, during which all the trees were carefully cleaned and the college premises were thoroughly tidied. Mr. Patil provided guidance to the students on how to properly dispose of wet and dry waste, along with different methods for managing waste.



“Commemorating 150 Years of Mahatma Gandhi: Inspiring Minds through the Power of Words. Gandhi 150 Essay Competition” (25 September 2018)
On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, an essay competition was organized at the college on September 25, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The competition covered the following topics:
1) Educational thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi,
2) Mahatma Gandhi's Civil Disobedience Movement,
3) Mahatma Gandhi - Truth and Satyagraha,
4) Mahatma Gandhi and Indian Politics,
5) Mahatma Gandhi and Non-violence, and
6) Mahatma Gandhi - Physical Labor and Self-reliance.
A total of 22 students participated in the competition. Among them, the first place was secured by Umesh Kadlag, the second place by Subhash Yemul, and the third place by Jyoti Shinde. The principal congratulated all the participants. The competition was judged by Dr. Kurhade and Prof. Kolte “







“Bringing Mahatma Gandhi's Vision to Life: Commemorating 150 Years of Inspiration with 'Mahatma Gandhi's Vision of India'.”(27 September 2018)




In the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, an elocution competition was organized at the college on September 27, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The competition covered the following topics:
1. Biographical insights into Mahatma Gandhi's life
2. Contributions to the fight for independence
3. Gandhi era - a source of inspiration
4. Relevance of Gandhi's thoughts in the present context
5. Mahatma Gandhi and religion
A total of 13 students participated in the competition. Among them, the first place was secured by Renuka Gore, the second place by Sukhdev Dheade, and the third place by Pallavi Ghatmale. The judging panel consisted of Prof. Jadhav Shobha and Dr. Godse Shubhangi. Principal Dr. Chougule expressed gratitude to all the students. “



“Echoing the Wisdom of the Ages: Voices Unite in the 150th Elocution Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi” (29 September 2018)
On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, a poster exhibition was organized at the college on September 29, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The topic of the exhibition was "Educational Thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi." A total of 23 students participated in the competition. Using various materials and inspirations from Gandhi's quotes, the students created posters that adorned the entrance gate of the college. They also carried these posters in their hands and took part in a morning procession. For the event, guidance was provided to the students by Professor Kalekar. The competition was judged by Dr. Chougule and Dr. Ransure. The first place was secured by Dipali Shelkar, the second place by Satish Korde, and the third place by Nagama Patel.







Poster Exhibition(2 October 2018)




On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the very first act was the ceremonial worship of Mahatma Gandhi's statue. The principal,Dr.Chaugule B.G, performed this act with her own hands. A play titled "Mahatma Gandhi's Vision of India" was presented, in which a total of 12 students participated. This play was staged at the main entrance of the college, and even the local residents in the vicinity responded positively to it. The play was guided by Prof. Jadhav and Principal Dr. Chougule. At the end, student Ashwini Bhondve expressed gratitude on behalf of everyone.



BHONDALA (14 October 2018)
Bhondla Celebration - On October 14, 2018, a "Bhondla" event was organized at the college as a part of the Navaratri festival. All the students participated in this program. First, there was a ceremonial worship of the Goddess Hatti's statue. Then, all the students formed a circle, held hands, and performed the traditional Bhondla dance while singing Bhondla songs. In a similar manner, everyone also participated in the Dandiya dance. After the Bhondla concluded, refreshments were served to all the students, marking the end of the program.







“Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's Birth Anniversary" in honour of Reading Inspiration Day.”(15 October 2018)




Reading Inspiration Day - On October 15, this day was celebrated as "Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam's Birth Anniversary" in honour of Reading Inspiration Day. Students visited the library and brought their favourite books. Sitting in the lecture hall, everyone participated in a collective reading session. Additionally, some students shared insights about books they had previously read, providing information to others. Outside the library, there's an information board labelled "Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Reading Corner" where students and teachers post noteworthy reading materials from the school newspaper. In this manner,"Reading Inspiration Day" was commemorated, emphasizing the importance of reading.



HIV-AIDS Awareness Rally (1 December 2018)
1 December 2018 - World AIDS Day. On December 4, 2018, on the occasion of World AIDS Day, a lecture by Dr. Sanjay Suryavanshi was organized at the college. Dr. Suryavanshi has been actively involved in spreading awareness and knowledge about AIDS for the past 20 years. He has also been providing treatment to those affected by the disease. During the lecture, he imparted fundamental information about AIDS to the students, raising awareness about it in society. He discussed the changes that have occurred in society, the importance of taking care of individuals affected by AIDS in our daily lives, and the collaborative efforts of government in treatment methods. He provided detailed insights into these topics.

'Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Diwas' - On December 6, 2018, on the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvan Diwas, a ceremonial worship of his statue was conducted at the college. Dr. Ransure provided insights to everyone about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's educational accomplishments. Following this, there was a reading of excerpts from his Constitution. All attendees paid their respects to the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Principal Dr.Chougule guided everyone during the event.



Swami Vivekanand Jayanti & Jijamata Jayanti(12 January 2019)
'Swami Vivekananda and Jijabai Jayanti' - On Saturday, January 12, 2019, Jijabai Jayanti and Swami Vivekananda (Youth Day) were celebrated at the college. First, there was a ceremonial worship of the statues of Swami Vivekananda and Jijabai. Shivraj Danavale eloquently highlighted the significance of Jijabai, the mother of the nation. Saurabh Ransure shed light on Swami Vivekananda's contributions. Anikta Shitole conducted the proceedings, and Mahesh Chavan presented a formal address. Principal Mr. Chougule guided everyone on how to reflect on the relevance of the works of Jijabai and Swami Vivekananda in today's context. Vrushali Jadhav expressed gratitude on behalf of all the students.







'Education is the key to women's empowerment.' - Savitribai Phule"(3 January 2019)




'Savitribai Phule Jayanti' - On January 3, 2019, at 12:00 PM, Savitribai Phule Jayanti was celebrated at the college. Principal Dr. Chougule performed a ceremonial worship of the statue of Savitribai Phule. All the students sang hymns dedicated to Savitribai Phule. Present in the event were the college principal, all the professors, staff members, and second-year B.Ed students.



Republic Day Celebration(26 January 2019)
On January 26th, a joint Republic Day celebration was organized by Shri Shivaji Maratha Society's Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya, Institute of Management and Research, and College of Architecture. The flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by Mr. Vikas Gogawale, the President, and the executive committee of the society. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as the national anthem and flag salute were followed by the declaration, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" (Victory to Mother India). Mr. Manikrao Satav Patil provided insights into the institution's activities. Mr. Kataria expressed gratitude on behalf of those present, and Dr. Kurhade Shubhangi conducted the proceedings. In such a spirited atmosphere, Republic Day was celebrated.







'Shiv Jayanti Celebration'(18 February 2019)




On February 18th, 2019, in commemoration of the birth anniversary of the great leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, an essay competition was held at the college as part of the festive celebrations. The competition took place at 11:00 AM and had the participation of 13 students. The topics for the competition were as follows:
1. Knowing King Shivaji
2. The all-encompassing perspective of Shivaji Maharaj
3. Shivaji Maharaj and his environmental outlook
4. The Shivaji era: The Ashtapradhan Council.
The examination for this event was overseen by Ms. Prajakta Khatate. In the ongoing competition, Jyoti Shinde secured the first position, followed by Aarti Babar. The elocution competition commenced at 1:30 PM, with the participation of 9 students. The topics for this competition were:
1. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the one I admire
2. The determined mountain of certainty
3. Perspectives on the women in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life.
For this event, Ms. Shobha Jadhav and Dr. Subhangi Godse served as examiners. Akshay Shinde secured the first position, while Renuka Gore secured the second position.



"Shivaji Maharaj's Cunning Victory: The Assassination of Afzalkhan" (19 February 2019)
On February 19, 2018, at 10:00 AM, a floral tribute was offered to the statue of the great personality, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, by the executive committee members of the institution's Floral Tribute Society. The attendees included Mr. Ashok Aabaasaheb Sawant, Dr. Chaugule (Principal), Dr. Tushar Dagade, and Mrs. Bangar (Vice Principal) from the Mahatma Gandhi adhyapak vidyalaya. The students of the college presented various anecdotes from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event highlighted significant aspects of his life, such as the naming ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the incident of Afzalkhan's assassination, a dance performance depicting Shivaji Maharaj's achievements, and lively portrayals of crucial events from his life. The celebration of Shiv Jayanti was organized with great enthusiasm and fervour. The coordination of the program was carried out by Mr. Patil.







Marathi & Science Day(27th & 28th February 2019 -)




Marathi Language Day and Science Day' - On February 27, 2019, and February 28, 2019, the development of the Marathi language was celebrated at the college. The event showcased the significance of the Marathi language and addressed issues related to it. The students enlightened the audience about the importance of Marathi language through various programs. The program began with the song "Lakh Lakh Chanderi Tu Tejachi Pyari" that resonated the value of Marathi language. Kajal Bhise, a student, presented on the challenges faced by Marathi language, its preservation, and development. The program featured various activities like Ganesh Vandana, dance performances on Aggobai Dhaggobai, speech and proverbs, recitation of historical events, Alankar, essay writing, Abhang, and Bharud.The main attraction of the program was the remarkable poetry recitation by Kulkarni Bhalchandra Kolhapurkar. The students enthusiastically participated in the recitation of various forms of Marathi literature. The program created a vibrant atmosphere of celebration. On the same day, Science Day was also celebrated, and awards were distributed. For Science Day, a quiz competition named "Prashnamanjusha" was organized. Chief guest Mr. Chandrakant Kataria guided the students. Former student Sarika Bahirat, who recently received her Ph.D., was felicitated by the former student association and faculty of Aranyeshwar College, Arneshwar, for her achievement. Dr. Ransure appreciated everyone's efforts.



Independence Day Celebration (15 August 2019)
On the morning of 15th August 2019, at 7:30 AM, all students, teachers, and other staff members of the college gathered in the college courtyard. Mr. Satyendra Kanchan, the Chairman of the Governing Body, Mr. Manikrao K. Satav Patil, Mr. Ashok Sawant Inamdar, and Mr. Sahabrao Jadhav were present on this occasion. The flag hoisting was done by Mr. Satyendra Kanchan. Everyone presents saluted the flag. Afterwards, a tribute was paid to the citizens who had sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama attack and other similar incidents. The seniors gave guidance, emphasizing that all Indian citizens should be aware of their responsibilities. Dr. Kurhade Shubhangi anchored the program.







Hindi Day(14 September 2019)




At the college, Mr. Yogesh Patil spoke to the students about the significance of Hindi Day. He emphasized the responsibility of promoting and propagating the Hindi language. The importance of Hindi literature was underscored. He conveyed that building unity through the Hindi language is a goal, and he encouraged the students to contribute to the promotion of Hindi.



Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri's birth anniversary (2 October 2019)
On October 2, 2019, a program was held at the college in the morning at 11:00 AM to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri's birth anniversary. The program was attended by all students teachers, as well as the principal of the college, Dr. B.G. Chaugule. The program began with the idol worship performed by the principals. After the formalities, Prof. Kolte delivered a lecture to the teachers, providing guidance. Using PowerPoint presentations, guidance was given to the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks. The gratitude for the program was expressed by the student teacher Ashwini Bhodave.







'Constitution Day Program'(26 November 2019)




On November 26, 2019, a 'Constitution Day Program' was organized at the college. For the main event, five students actively participated in a discussion on the topic of 'Fundamental Rights and Duties,' encouraging dialogue and expressing their views. The chief guest for the program was the former student of the college, Mr. Swapnil Dhende. The program was presided over by the principal of the college, Dr. Chaugule. The main speakers used a PowerPoint presentation to provide an in-depth understanding of the Indian Constitution. Following this, the students engaged in a discussion, explaining various aspects through the medium of questions. They discussed the significance of the Constitution in the governance of the state, helping students grasp its importance. The program began with the national anthem and the university anthem. Dr. Ransure, the chief guest, delivered an insightful speech, highlighting the importance of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the Constitution. He acknowledged how each word in the Constitution has been incorporated into the B.Ed curriculum, emphasizing its significance. Dr. Chaugule, in her presidential speech, praised the students for their collective reading of the Constitution. Shubham Rajamane and Suresh Mahaka were the program's hosts. Roshan Khavale, a student-teacher, expressed gratitude on behalf of the students for the program.



Mahatma Phule Memorial Day. (28 November 2019)
On Thursday, November 28, 2019, at 11:00 AM, a tribute ceremony was held at the Teacher's College, Aranyeshwar, Pune 9, to honor the statue of Mahatma Phule. Dr. Chaugule, the Principal of the college, and other staff members paid their respects by offering flowers to the statue. At that time, all the professors from the college were present. To commemorate Mahatma Phule Memorial Day, an essay competition was organized in the college for students and teaching staff. Dr. Vilas Ransure and Prof. Kolate served as the examiners for this competition. The results of this essay competition were announced as follows: First Place - Ms. Minakshi Mothe Second Place - Mr. Roshan Khavale.In this manner, the teaching staff of the college extended their greetings to Mahatma Phule on the occasion of Mahatma Phule Memorial Day.







AIDS AWARENESS RALLY(26 November 2019)




The campus of Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Aranyeshwar Pune, was charged with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose on December 2, 2019, as students and faculty members gathered to participate in an impactful AIDS Awareness Rally. The event was meticulously organized in an effort to disseminate knowledge and understanding about HIV/AIDS and its profound societal implications. Under the theme "Raising Awareness on AIDS," the rally was a remarkable initiative to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds and unite them to promote awareness of a crucial global health concern. The esteemed Dr. B. G. Chaugule, the Principal of Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, inaugurated the rally. His words emphasized the significance of informed awareness and collective responsibility in addressing the global challenges posed by HIV/AIDS.



Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (Youth Day), Jijau Jayanti, (15 January 2020)
On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, the college organized a program under the chairmanship of Dr. Chaugule, the Principal, to commemorate Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (Youth Day), Jijau Jayanti, Geography Day, and Makar Sankranti. During this event, Dr. Jyoti Shinde Rajmata Jijau provided insights into the formidable duties undertaken by Rajmata Jijau for the upliftment of the nation.
Swapnil Dhende elaborated on how Swami Vivekananda's educational principles find practical application in today's reality. Seema Pawar shed light on the significance of Geography Day (January 14) and its importance in the realms of geography and astronomy. Additionally, Prashant Panchal emphasized the cultural significance of Makar Sankranti, drawing from mythological references. Purnima Poman anchored the program. Dr. Chaugule, the Principal, expressed his appreciation for all the participants in his presidential address. He also extended her best wishes for each special day being celebrated. Shubham Yemul expressed gratitude on behalf of everyone and concluded the program.

In celebration of the birth anniversary of the great warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the Shri Shivaji Maratha Society, Pune 2, organized an essay competition on February 12, 2020, at 2:00 PM in the premises of the College of Education, Pune 2. This competition saw participation from both students and teachers of the college.
The essay competition had the following topics:
1. Shivaji's Life and Present- Day India.
2. Shivaji's Life and Contemporary Challenges.
3. People's Governance Inspired by Shivaji.
The competition was judged by Dr. Vilas Ransure and Dr. Shubhangi Kurhade.
The winners of the competition were:
First Prize: Ms. Sanas Hiral Prakash (B.Ed. First Year)
Second Prize: Ms. Deshmukh Jyoti Vanraj (B.Ed. First Year)
On February 12, 2020, at 11:00 AM, an elocution competition was held at the college. Five students and teachers from the college participated in this event. The elocution competition had the following topics:
1. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Leadership Skills.
2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj - An Ideal King.
3. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Military Strategies.
The competition was judged by Dr. Vaishali Shinde and Mrs.Manini Kolte. The winners of the competition were:

Second Prize: Ms. Pallavi Ghatmale (B.Ed. Second Year)
On February 19, 2020, at 9:00 AM, the college celebrated Shiv Jayanti. The program began with the offering of flowers to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by dignitaries. The garlanding was done by the college principal, Dr. Chaugule Babasaheb Ganpat, and cultural program coordinator Dr. Vilas Ransure.
During the program, first and second-year students presented various aspects of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's life. The event started with a Ganesh Vandana performed by Mr. Shubham Yemul, B.Ed. Second Year. Subsequently, Ms. Pallavi Ghatmale and her associates highlighted Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's naming ceremony. Then, Mr. Roshan Khavale and his associates elaborated on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's accomplishments and contributions. A skit was performed to depict Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's actions and their relevance to the present education system by Ms. Pallavi Chavhan and her associates. The event concluded with an informative play by Ms. Mayuri Shilimkar and Mr. Afzal Khan regarding the challenges faced by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and today's education system.
The heartfelt gratitude was expressed to the college principal, all professors, staff members, and students for their enthusiastic participation and making the celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's birth anniversary a success. Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti(2 October 2020)
On October 2, 2020, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti - The celebration of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday took place online at 11:00 AM on the morning of October 2, 2020, in honour of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. During this event, students and teachers discussed various aspects of Mahatma Gandhi's life and work, including his philosophy of nonviolence, Mahatma Gandhi's thoughts, and his vision for sustainable development. They expressed their opinions and ideas on these topics. The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Mr. B. G. Chaugule, while the cultural department's head, Dr. V. V. Ranade, organized the event. This program was a great success and was conducted with great enthusiasm.







Marathi Language Pride Day(27 February 2021)




In the academic year 2020-21, the 'Marathi Language Pride Day' program was conducted on February 27, 2021, through an online Google Meet. The program was organized by Minakshi Mothe, a student. In this program, second-year and first-year students recited poems. Additionally, Umesh Deshmukh, a former student, emphasized the importance of Marathi Language Day. Furthermore, former student Balasaheb Dongre recited his own poems. In this manner, the 'Marathi Language Pride Day' program was conducted online.


Bhondla(14 October 2021)
An event has been organized for Bhondla (a traditional dance) on the occasion of Navaratri. All professors, students, and staff members gathered together in the college campus at 10:30 AM for an active participation in the program. Initially, all the female professors performed the puja of the Gajraj (elephant statue). After that, the first-year and second-year B.Ed. students imitated the Gajraj's procession and sang Bhondla songs with enthusiasm. Following this, with great enthusiasm, all the students, both male and female, as well as the professors, performed the Dandiya dance.
Towards the end of the program, everyone enjoyed refreshments. Dr. Shobha Jadhav expressed gratitude on behalf of everyone. In this manner, under the guidance of Principal Dr.Chaugule, the Bhondla program was a grand success, and everyone participated with great enthusiasm.







Constitution Day(26/11/2021)




On Friday, November 26, 2029, a Constitution Day program was organized from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. On this day, Ferguson College's Vice Principal, Dr. Prakash Pawar, conducted an online lecture. During the program, Dr. Shubhangi Kuhade read the preamble to the Indian Constitution. Dr. Ransure displayed the tricolor flag and emphasized the significance of Constitution Day and the purpose of the lecture.
Dr. Prakash Pawar explained the fundamental rights and duties of Indian citizens as well as how to uphold them. He provided detailed guidance on how students and teachers can promote and disseminate the values of the Constitution to the general public.In conclusion, Principal Dr. Chaugule delivered a concluding speech, and Professor Kalekar expressed gratitude. All professors and students were present at this event.


Marathi Language Pride Day and Science Daya(27 & 28 Feb 2022)
We are fortunate to have Marathi as our language and we genuinely feel blessed when we hear it. Marathi knows no religion, caste, or creed; it is revered across the world. On February 27, 2022, which happened to be a Sunday, the "Marathi Language Pride Day and Science Day" program was organized at the college from 27th February to 28th February 2022.
All students enthusiastically participated in this event.
The program commenced with the singing of the university anthem. Subsequently, all students collectively sang a Marathi pride song with great fervour. Dr. Shubhangi Kuhade, with the aim of achieving formal recognition for the Marathi language, presented her initiative titled "Continuous Efforts." To make students aware of the importance of the Marathi language, former college student Dr. Hanumant Bhavari delivered a lecture online.
The program's highlight was the felicitation and welcome of renowned scholar Dr. Kalekar by Principal Dr. Chaugule through Google Meet. They emphasized the importance of the Marathi language to the students. Dr. Kalekar also recited two of his own poems during the event. Following this, some students recited their poems. There were various activities such as questionnaires, experiments, language games, and presentations by science scholars. The program concluded with the recitation of a Marathi poem by Principal Dr. Chaugule and a vote of thanks by Professor Manini Kolte. The event was hailed as a success.







International Women's Day Report(8 March 2022)




On March 8, 2022, the Shri Shivaji Maratha Society College, Pune 2, organized a lecture series to commemorate International Women's Day. The program included the following lectures:
1. Mental Health and Well-being of Women
2. Women-centric Laws
The event began with the honourable Principal, Mr. Chaugule, performing a statue unveiling ceremony. This was followed by the singing of the university anthem. The program's formal inauguration was conducted by Dr. Shobha Jadhav. Professor Rajani Thuse welcomed and introduced the chief guest, Dr. Shubhangi Godse.
Dr. Rajani Thuse gave a lecture on the mental health and well-being of women, emphasizing the importance of maintaining mental, physical, and intellectual balance in women's lives. She also highlighted the need to uphold women's dignity and set examples for future educational initiatives. The second lecture, focusing on women-centric laws, was delivered by Adv. Vaishali Mulikar, who provided a comprehensive understanding of various laws concerning women, domestic violence, social media usage, and the Senior Citizens Act. She presented this information in an accessible manner for everyday understanding. In addition to the lectures, there was a presentation on organizing educational sports for women in the college to encourage physical activity and team spirit among female students. The program successfully celebrated International Women's Day and created an enthusiastic atmosphere. It was attended by the college's principal, professors, and students.


Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti(13 April 2022)
On April 13, 2013, in commemoration of the 939th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, a lecture series was organized at the college. The program featured a lecture by Prof. Mahendra Raghunath Bhosale, Principal of Geeta Mandir College, Chinchwad, Pune - 33. Both first and second-year students actively participated in this event.
The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti program commenced with the unveiling of Dr. Babasaheb's statue. The dignitaries present, including Principal Dr. Chaugule, renowned professor Dr. Bhosale, Dr. Ransure, and others, paid their respects by offering flowers to the statue. Dr. Ransure introduced the guest speaker and gave an overview of the lecture.
Professor Mahendra Bhosale delivered an enlightening lecture on "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and the Indian Constitution." He provided an in-depth understanding of the Indian Constitution, focusing on Articles 1, 12 to 23, and Article 368. He presented the subject matter in a captivating and relatable manner, making it engaging for the students. He also shed light on the issues of child exploitation in the country, emphasizing the importance of raising awareness and taking action to combat it. The program received positive feedback from students and teachers alike.
In his presidential address, Principal Dr. Bapusaheb Chaugule encouraged students and teachers to embody Dr. Babasaheb's message of "Learn, Unite, and Struggle." He stressed the importance of practicing these ideals in daily life and imparting them to future generations. The program's coordination was managed by student-teacher, Ms. Kashmira Mehetre and Mr. Namdev Bhoye, who ensured its smooth execution.
During this program, Dr. Chaugule was also honored with the reappointment to the position of Principal. Dr. Ransure extended his gratitude to Dr. Yogesh Patil for receiving the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Distinguished Teacher Award.







English Language Day(23/04/2022)




23rd April was chosen as English language day, because it is thought to be Shakespeare's birthday William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet and actor. He is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's greatest dramatist He is also called England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon" The day was first celebrated in the year 2010
OBJECTIVES.
"To promote awareness about the history, culture and achievements associated with the language. To develop the interest about English literature on the occasion of William Shakespeare's birth anniversary as well as his death anniversary to promote the English language through activities like book-reading events English quizzes, poetry, and literature exchanges and other activities


INTRODUCTORY SPEECH
The program was started by welcoming the principal sir Dr Chougule sir. Pournima shinde a student teacher who was doing anchoring, also we the audience who were present there welcomed the principal sir. Then Dr shobha Jadhav mam gave introductory speech where she stated the importance of English language Day She said that there were many writers who contributed a lot for the development of the English language Mam also said,
A presentation of a skit was performed by the student teachers. The subject of the skit was a poor girl's education. Due to the poor economic condition, she was not able to take good education was the theme of the act. The act was presented by student teachers in a very beautiful way.
there are many words in our daily life, we unknowingly use English words very fluently like -road Bus Driver, conductor station school college etc, thus she introduced the importance of English language.







'Shivswarajya Day' Program Report(6 June 2022)




On June 6, 2022, at 10:00 AM, a program was organized to celebrate 'Shivswarajya Day.' The event began with the ceremonial worship of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by Principal Dr. Chaugule and Chief Guest Prof. Somnath Godse, Head of the Department, Dr. Ransure, and was attended by all professors and student-teachers. During the event, the Maharashtra anthem and the national anthem were sung.
During this occasion, history enthusiast Prof. Somnath Godse delivered a speech highlighting the leadership skills of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He discussed Shivaji Maharaj's establishment of a selfgoverning kingdom, his commitment to religious tolerance, his scientific perspective, his vision for women's rights, and his foresight in agricultural development and fortification strategies. Professor Godse emphasized that teachers should in still the moral values and life skills demonstrated by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in students.
